I started running as a means to compete in a sport at Ecole Classique then went on to run at Nicholls State, but I felt a little burned out after my first year. I took a year off of school to live in Germany where I rekindeled my love for the sport of running with trail running. When I came back to the states, I rejoined the Nicholls XC and track team. After graduating with a BS in dietetics, I moved to Boston for a short internship. I joined the BAA running group and with the encouragement of the group, I decided to train for a marathon. I completed my first one in April 2010 with a 3:07 and qualified for Boston. Since then I have ran a 2:56 at the NYC Marathon and hope to eventually run a sub 2:55. I am currently a dietetic intern at Tulane and hope to become a sports dietitian in the near future!
